I am experienced in small business and individual tax but specializes in agriculture. I grew up farming and ranching and connect very well with the agricultural community. My passion is agriculture, and I get to be part of that community through my work with farmers and ranchers.

Personal
I grew up on my family’s farm in Colome, SD (Go Cowboys!), but now call Rapid City home along with my wife and two kids. My hobbies include putting up hay with antique tractors, working in my shop, taking my kids horseback riding, watching football on Sundays, and doing anything outdoors.
Paul Harvey famously said, “And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, ‘I need a caretaker.’ so God made a farmer.” My guess is that the farmer made a similar comment back in 1861 when the U.S. Government first created the federal income tax. I’m sure the farmer looked down at that newspaper and said, “I need an accountant.”
Nothing is certain in this world except death, taxes, and that it will surely rain when you are trying to put up hay.
