Personal

Brady grew up on his family’s farm in Colome, SD (Go Cowboys!), but now calls Rapid City home along with his wife and two kids. His hobbies include putting up hay with antique tractors, working in his shop, taking his kids horseback riding, watching football on Sundays, and doing anything outdoors.

Paul Harvey famously said, “And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, ‘I need a caretaker.’ so God made a farmer.” Brady’s guess is that the farmer made a similar comment back in 1861 when the U.S. Government first created the federal income tax. He is sure the farmer looked down at that newspaper and said, “I need an accountant.”

Nothing is certain in this world except death, taxes, and that it will surely rain when you are trying to put up hay.
