Additional Informational Session to Explain Tax Reform Impact Added to Schedule
Due to the overwhelming response to the FREE January 9th informational session explaining the details and impact of the new Tax Reform, Ketel Thorstenson has added an additional date. It will be January 16 at The Joy Center on the Black Hills State University Campus from 5:15 to 7 p.m.
After months and months of discussion, the tax reform legislation has passed Congress and the President has signed it. It is the biggest tax reform in over 30 years! People are asking themselves now what? Do you understand how the tax reform will affect you and your business? In an effort to help the community understand the changes and the impact, Ketel Thorstenson is offering informational sessions of explanation.
The speakers at the added January 16 date will be Kevin Sickels, CPA, Partner, Jennifer Konvalin, CPA, Partner, Michelle Minnerath, CPA, Partner, and Jess Weaver, CPA, Senior Manager. The session will steer area businesses and individuals through the wide sweeping changes. The following is scheduled to be covered.
- Details of the most significant tax overhaul since 1986
- Lower tax brackets
- Restructuring deductions and credits
- Cutting corporate tax rates
- New 20% deduction for businesses (except C Corp)
It will conclude with a question and answer session.
